When you’re shooting it, you’re a 25-year-old kid in the middle of a four assignment day. When you open the envelope and look at the images 31 years later,  holy crap! This is the first time I ever photographed United Farm Workers President Cesar Chavez, on August 4, 1983, in Lamont, California.
